The idea

Every OBLIQ piece is cut diagonally across the grain of the fabric. It costs us a third more cloth and twice the patience, and it makes a coat move like water when you walk.

The lookbook

Shot over two days in an empty studio with one window and no retouching. Twelve looks, worn the way we wear them.

Fourteen pieces

We make one small collection a season and we never put it on sale. When a piece is gone, it is gone. The offcuts become linings, the linings become tags, and the tags tell you the name of the person who sewed your coat.

The season

Free alterations for a year. Every piece ships in a cotton bag you can keep.
