LiftLiftTwo rooms above a bakery on a quiet street, a long wall of windows and a timetable that starts before sunrise.
We opened Tensile for people who felt out of place in loud gyms. Classes are small, the music is low and every coach knows your name by the second week. You will sweat, you will shake a little and you will leave feeling taller than when you walked in.
Every class is capped at twelve people, so your coach can actually see you. Pick one or mix them through the week.

Springs, straps and slow control. The class most people fall in love with first.

A steady vinyasa that links breath to movement and leaves you pleasantly tired.

Barbells, kettlebells and good form, coached in small groups with plenty of rest.

Hips, spine and shoulders. The class that makes everything else feel easier.

Long held shapes, dim lights and a cup of ginger tea afterwards.

Short, honest intervals with ropes, bikes and sleds. Over before you can complain.
Choose a day, filter by the kind of class you like and save your spot. Spots open seven days ahead and the early ones go fast.
The reformer room faces east for the early classes. The yoga room faces west and glows for the evening flow.
Strength keeps you capable, mobility keeps you comfortable and breath keeps you calm when life is loud. Every class trains at least two of them.
01Lift a little heavier every month, with a coach watching your form.
02Move every joint through its whole range so your body stops feeling stiff.
03Slow exhales between sets, quiet minutes at the end and a nervous system that settles.
